Dressing dolls in knit outfits is fun and a good way to experiment with style.
Several years ago, I made this outfit from a Mary Maxim kit. Yesterday, I took out the storage box with my doll clothes materials to make another outfit from the kit. I was really surprised to see that the patterns were designed by Nicky Epstein for Mary Maxim.
The doll, yarn, and patterns are a kit and I purchased 2 dolls. I've started the tunic length cardigan and will be making the capri pants.
I'll be adding this to my ever growing collection of dolls that are dressed in outfits that I've made.
Here's the link to a dress for an 11 inch fashion doll like Barbie that I designed many years ago.
